The ant was mad because a
huge elephant stomped the anthill.
She opened her mouth as wide as she could and caught the
elephant.
It took her seventeen months to gulp it down the throat, but
she swallowed him whole.
Of course! The poor little ant couldn't move due to the
weight of the morsel!
After thinking about it twice, she deduced that to digest
the elephant would take at least, the double of the time it
took her to swallow it. The ant resolved that the best thing
would be to let him free. Thus she opened her mouth again,
as wide as she could, and let him go. As soon as the
elephant was out he ran away as fast as he could. Since then
he has not returned.
Now a day, elephants walk slowly because of their fear of
messing up with the anthills.
