Continuity is a path for current flow.
It can be measure with an ohmmeter. A copper wire used to connect components on a proto board is an example of a path for current flow. We say that continuity exists when there is a
very small resistance
between the ends of the wire (almost 0 ohms).
A copper wire is equivalent to a
proto board strip
.
The ohmmeter will display an open circuit message (OC) when there is no continuity. This is equivalent to a
very large resistance
or an open circuit.
