Supervisor
Supervises 22 direct associates and 1 indirect in a wiring device assembly and packaging line. Generate daily production reports (efficiency, production) using Microsoft Excel. Ensure that the production schedule is followed and all production goals achieved.


1996-1999  Harvey Hubbell Caribe Inc. Vega Baja, PR -Quality \ Laboratory Supervisor
Supervises 3 quality auditors and 1 laboratory technician. Responsible for the operation of an UL / CSA electromechanical testing /calibration laboratory and incoming inspection activities in an ISO 9002 registered industry. While leading up this group:

  • Initiate cost improvement program that reduces outside calibration contract in $18,000 in a period of two years.
  • Develop a new filing system for CSA documentation. The division later adopted this system.
  • Laboratory receives CSA Category Certification, being the first in Puerto Rico with such certification.
  • Revise the MRB , Incoming Inspection & RMA procedures among others to reflect CINCOM changes. 

1995-1996    Harvey Hubbell Caribe Inc. Vega Baja, PR UL \ CSA Technician
Performed measurement instruments calibration, product testing, and data analysis. Keep test records, maintain UL, CSA and TUV documentation. Interface between HHCI and UL / CSA & TUV.

1991-1995 Caribe General Electric Inc. Vega Alta, PR - Supplier Quality & Metrology Specialist   Performed instrument calibration. Class A inspection reports and any other metrology activity as required. Evaluated and  audited supplier quality system to verify his capability to met GE quality standards.

1990-1991 Caribe General Electric Inc. Vega Alta, PR  - Quality Assurance Auditor
Responsible for the  inspection of manufactured parts and raw materials against inspection plan and engineering drawing using calipers, micrometers, optical gages.

1988-1990 Caribe General Electric Inc. Vega Alta, PR Set Up person
In charge of the operation an set up of four automatic high volume machining centers.
