From the mouth of Admiral Kensler:

Formerly, I had reported the demotion of Fleet Admiral Amit Misra 
for deserting his post, although it was also partly because he was 
a tyrant also. He unfortunately returned on long range scanners 
before my other plan to deal with him was ready. He also sent the 
following communication:

     After 37 days in a deep reconnaissance mission deep in Cardassian
     space, I was able to contact Starfleet and through my personal channel
     got in contact with the Area 001: Command Center database
     and saw the retrofit done to it.  I must commend you on your ability to keep the        
     facility working and I am impressed by the
     new ships.  I am disappointed that you have
     demoted me but I had orders from the Starfleet Commander in Chief and
     had to leave onboard the U.S.S. Prometheus NX-59854 for the mission.
     I was able to penetrate the Dominion Defensive Grid and have been able
     to relocate some of their starships to nonessential areas so as to
     give the Starfleet/Klingon/Romulan Task Force a window big enough as
     to land the invasion forces unto the neighboring Dominion Fleet Yards
     and the Jem'Hadar breeding facilities.  Under my command in Task Force
     Omega I have the newly built Sovereign-class Explorer U.S.S.
     Redricksburg, the Akira-class Light Frigate U.S.S. Thunderchild, the
     New Orleans-class Frigate U.S.S. Wooster, and the Defiant-class Escort
     Cruiser U.S.S. Avenger.  Task Force Omega shall return to Area 001 on
     Earth date July 18 for ship refit and repair.  I shall then stay in
     Area 001 for the remainder of the time with Task Force Omega as our
     defensive ship squadron until the end of the Dominion War.  As my
     Executive Officer I must commend you on the such a wonderful job you
     have accomplished which gives me the pleasure of giving the Area 001
     Board of Admirals (You, Reuben, Rene, and Juan C.) the J.P. Hansen
     Legion of Merit.  Under Starfleet/Area 001 Regulation 21-B subsection
     7.4 I hereby regain the rank of Fleet Admiral and the position of
     Commanding Officer of the Area 001 facility on stardate 59807.07
     Please note this on your personal log and on the Area 001 database
     (a.k.a. website).  Those charges brought about against me have been
     officially dropped by Starfleet and the UFP and I hope that you
     comply.  If you can, please commend Fleet Admiral Rene Rios for his
     job on the SFMC database.  Once I return to Area 001, I will send the
     Board of Admirals the newly approved Star Fleet Marine Corps Spec Ops
     patch along with the two new Marine Regiments aboard the newly
     christened U.S.S. Sulaco, which is the most recent breed of Star Fleet
     Marine Transport/Cruiser.  It has totally new techonology that will
     have to be tested before taken to the Front.  Please try to enforce
     Vice Admiral Reuben Soto to try to make his biography so that it will
     be added to the database a.s.a.p. Our incursion into Dominion
     territory led us to capture a couple of Dominion Fighters, a Jem'Hadar
     Warship, and a newly built Jem'Hadar Battlecruiser.  You of course
     will have to go into examining these new additions for a future
     mission which will need all the knowledge required of these vessels.
     As soon as the new Luxembourg-class Escort Cruisers are built, put in
     their command crews and instruct them to report to the 11th Fleet
     which is made up of the ships from Area 001 and should be there for
     repairs.  The Lynx-class Timeslip Cruisers must be put in storage for
     now since their services is not in its need.  Order them to report to
     C.S.S. Tereshkova and tell their command crews to stay there until
     further instructed.

This message has insulted us, for me, it is insultive to be nagged about 
commending Admiral Rios and asking Admiral Soto for his biography, because 
this is an insult to my command ability since I have already done these 
things. (Although perhaps Admiral Rios should be commended again). But 
the real problem is that Admiral Misra was a ruthless tyrant and control 
freak. Under my command, I have been liberal with the Area 001 Admirals, 
allowing them more freedom to do as they think is appropriate, and because 
of this, we have all done a great job in improving Area 001. The other 
Admirals have performed excellently. After this freedom and success in 
Area 001, we cringe at the thought of having that supressing tyrant back. 
My reply to Amit Misra is as follows:

(From Jonathan Kensler)Unfortunately I am unable to carry out this order as 
we, the Admirality, find you incompetant in your duty. Due to the order from 
Star Fleet to reinstate you, we see no other option than to disobey 
Star Fleet, as this is so, we feel that it would be a great error in logic to 
remain and be court martialed by Star Fleet, as so, as of this Star Date, we 
are declaring this installation independant and so will now fall under the laws 
of jurisdiction that govern independant civilizations. Due to this emergency, 
martial law has been instated in Area 001, and a governing council of myself, 
Admiral Rios, and Admiral Soto are now governing Area 001. You will now be 
promptly incarcerated if you choose to attempt to return to Area 001. 
Furthermore, the governing board is discussing reinstating Capital punishment, 
which you may face if you are found to be in Area 001 space.

(Jon)I am unsure as to whether I will make any more Luxembourg class cruisers. 
Furthermore, as for the Lynx-class Timeslip Cruisers, as you are no longer in 
Command, you have no voice in the matter, but you can rest assured that we have 
created an Area 001 department of temporal anomalies modelled after your 
Star Fleet temporal anomalies devision and will adhere to basically the same 
principles during time travel.

(Jon)I am also confused as to what you are referring to in terms of the 
"C.S.S. Tereshkova". No station by this name exists in Area 001. The Area 001 
ships or stations that exist in Area 001 are as follows:

USS Luxembourg
USS Lynx
USS Darklight (Classified and still being designed)
CSS Mulligan (Still being built, only it's starship productions are constructed)

(Jon)And I would greatly suggest not trying to attack Area 001, even the prototypes 
for the new Darklight are highly formidable, it's going to be a SFMC attack ship set 
to destroy anything it comes across. Also, should you by some chance get to Area 001 
and get past our defences, I have placed bombs in key locations so that only I can 
blow them up, and also, they are not part of any of the ships self destruct sequences, 
and the computers can do nothing about them.

(Jon)Unfortunately, I was looking forward to meeting you and perhaps having a battle 
when you attempt to return. (I would like to kill you) Unfortunately, I am leaving 
on the 21, but just in case you try to take over Area 001, I will still have the 
bombs in place, and you will be unable to remove them by law. You might get a few 
out of certain places, but some of the best places have been fully rigged so that 
at any time, I can hit the switch. Also don't forget that where I'm going to has 
LOTS of places for me to hit the destruct sequences on those bombs, so don't try 
anything.

(Jon)What Starships are you bringing? I look forward to you bringing your ships 
that you have gathered, and doing battle against my new, small, but awesome fleet.

(Jon)And as for the award, I laugh your award, I much prefer the one those green 
blooded Vulcans gave me, you know the one.



Those were the communications between Fleet Admiral Amit Misra and myself, you 
can also see by his mentioning of Space Stations that don't exist, that he may 
be mentally unstable. As of 9807.09, Area 001 is independent of the Federation. 
The following communication has been sent to both Admiral Rios and Admiral Soto:

Unfortunately Fleet Admiral Amit Misra has used long range sensors and sent me 
a communication, saying that Star Fleet was ordering his reinstation as Head of 
Area 001, however I find it unacceptable to let this kind of vile person back in 
Command of Area 001. So I sent a message back to him that these orders were 
unacceptable, and since we would most likely be facing a Star Fleet court martial, 
we saw no reason for being punished, so therefore, Area 001 has declared it's 
independence. Furthermore, in view of our previous Commanders tyranny, not letting 
us have a voice in Area 001, I am not making the same mistake, so as of now, 
Jonathan Kensler, Rene Rios, and Reuben Soto make up the Republic of Area 001 
Council of Admiralty, so we now jointly govern Area 001, with I being the head 
for small instances where such things are neccessary. Please prepare your men, 
ships, and marines from an expected attack from the tyrant, Amit Misra. Hopefully, 
this will provide us a good time to test some of our new weapons such as the 
Darklight. Blow him out of space Rene.
