New
for 2005, the AMS was
developed in response to
industry inspectors desiring
"more
consistency"
with installing dealer
vehicle modifications,
regardless of where
or who built the
vehicle.
The AMS features an all stainless
steel chassis design
with a black textured
powdercoat finished cover.
All AEVIT® (excluding
Information Center, Input
Devices and Servos) and
secondary console CPU
components, attach to the
inner chassis on
manufactured threaded
standoffs. This simplifies
and standardizes assembly of
all components in all makes
of vehicles, as well as cut
down on shop time and
fabrication. CAN
cable, 12Vdc, and chassis
ground connections
are a snap!
Additional features of the
AMS include cooling
fans (2) and an
illuminated "able-bodied"
switch on the
housing within easy reach.
The top of the AMS cover
also has pre-punched holes
to accept an EMC Input
Device base clamp.
 The
AMS will be mounted to the
vehicle floor between the
front seats, and will be
EMC's preferred method of
installation.

Input
Device Mounting
EMC
manufactures a wide
range of Input Device
mounting systems, that
allow them to be
positioned exactly
where you need them.
The tubular stancions
are "hydroformed"
for strength and then
powdercoated black for
longlasting
appearance. All
machined floor mount
and display bases can
swivel, pivot, and
adjust for that perfect
fit! |
