Hi again, As you can see on this page we have a Vejigante mask these are made of paper mache. Used as the typical mask of the Puertorican carnival they compose a very important part of our culture. The mask presented here was made by traditional artisans, it is a unique piece and it is prepared to be worn. The style of the Ponce mask (the ones made in paper mache) is almost always alike, big horns, long mouth and animal forms although it can also be abstract but the horns are essential. Now we will continue with the Vejigante masks exhibition. If you would like to see a bigger image of the pictures presented please click once the image you wish to observe better.
NOTE: If you need information on how to buy a mask, you can call collect or send an e-mail.
