Eugenio Hopgood Dávila

Journalist and news producer with 15 years experience in radio, television and newspapers.

M.A. in Public Communication and Law Degree (Juris Doctor) from the University of Puerto Rico.

Worked as a reporter for national newspapers El Reportero and El Mundo, and as Assignment Editor for Channel 11 T.V. news show Las Noticias.

In radio, he was a news announcer for WKAQ Radio-Reloj and currently produces and anchors Hoy a las Cinco, a daily news program for University of Puerto Rico radio station (WRTU-FM).

His articles have been published in The San Juan Star and also Diálogo. He has been a correspondent in San Juan for Latino U.S.A., a weekly news program broadcasted through the National Public Radio Network.

In the area of Education, he is the author of lessons in mass-media for the Editorial Santillana textbook on Language and Communications, currently studied in high schools throughout Puerto Rico.

In Audio Visuales del Caribe, besides his duties as member of the board, he works as copy-reader and narrator.
